whether drunk drving is guilty?

in the past several months, drunk drvings have caused a series of accidents and many innocent people lost thier lives. whether drunk drviers should be punished by law has become a hot topic in recent days.
in my opinion, it's a bad idea to drive after a driver has drank alcohol.alcohol makes ones mide unconcious and crazy.it is dangerous for both the driver himself and people who are walking or driving correctly on road.
dear friends, how do you think about this case, whether you think drunk drving is guilty or should be punished seriously?

Hi there, well driving while drunk should prohibited. There are many incidents happened because of being drunk, so i guess they should really punished for doing this. And beside there always a chance that they will be having accidents when they are drunk. And innocent persons are the one who suffered because of them. Recently in the news here a student who are drunk while driving her car hit an innocent people so I guess there should be a punishment for this. Lets just dont drink too much, keep on mylotting,

I think drunk driving is extremely bad and should be punished to the full extent of the law. When people drive under the influence, they are putting themselves and other innocent people in danger. If they get hurt, it is only their own fault for drinking. Some people are careless and just do not care at all.
