Worst Junk Foods

Here are the top 10 worst junk foods of all time and you better watch out for these lists: 10) Fruit Drinks -- Not to be confused with fruit juices. Fruit drinks are 10 percent or less real fruit sugar. They're loaded with artificial colouring and sucrose. Definitely teeth rotters. 9) White bread -- Yes, this is a junk food. Everytime you're looking at a slice of white bread you are seeing a slice of sugar - it acts in the body the same way. 8) Doughnut -- It's white bread dipped and deep-fried and sugar. What can be worse? No wonder there's a big hole in the middle, it's a nutritional zero. 7) Decaffeinated coffee -- An excellent way to remove the caffeine and add chemical solvent residue right into your favourite beverage. 6) Pop -- Let's see now, how do you spell increased bone breakage? P-O-P. 5) Diet Pop -- You get all the dandy benefits of pop, plus artificial sweetener, which has been shown in studies to actually increase your sugar cravings and alter your brain chemistry. 4) Sugary breakfast cereals -- Now here's a guarantee: If you want to start your day in a low lifeforce mode, then this is the junk breakfast for you. 3) Deep-dish Pizza -- This is an excellent way to stack, jack and pack your G.I. tract with one big dollop of sodium, dough and fat-an overnight weight-gain wonder. 2) Ice Cream -- Here's a beauty, high in sugar and high in fat, for another whack attack on your pancreas and your arteries. 1) French Fries and Potato Chips (Winner) -- Here's why: Yes, it's unparalleled sodium-loading enzyme-dead food. But new information now shows that it's high in acrylimide, a known cancer-causing agent. In fact, the amount of acyrlimide in a serving of fastfood French fries is 300 times above the US Environmental Protection Agency's limit set for one glass of water. Choose wisely people :)

I like your list, you did a good job at putting it together. the rules that i try to follow about eating is to stay away from as much sugar as possible. any thing that has sugar added, or the things that have high fructose corn syrup in then i do not buy. I also stay away from fast foods, and anything that has been processed.

Thanks for appreciation. :). Too much is indeed bad but without it is also bad. Like you do, I really don't like eating at fastfood. I'd rather go home than eating on that place. I'm not saying that fastfood is a dirty place but just like what you have said, all are processed and instant, thus, lots of preservatives and bad ingredients are mixed on what they serve.

Number 10 is something that I try to advise my mother on when she gets things for my niece and the neighborhood children that come to us. My mom likes to buy Capri Suns for them because they are easy and non messy, but I have been pushing and making my niece drink more water instead of the Capri Sun, and for the children who come onto our porch, I got fun cups finally today and I made a very serious and stern warning of "if you don't bring the cup back, then you will have to get your water ", I was giving them water bottles, but the water bottles held too much water than they could drink because they are little, and even though we told them to put them in the trash, they would end up in the mud or grass, the bottles ended up as litter. We now put their names on Capri Suns if we give them any, or any snacks, and that includes my niece as well. You have to teach children responsibilty, and also healthy eating and drinking habits
