It is unclear at this time if it is a technical glitch or if the white house is reacting to the wide spread outrage over its "rat out your friends and family" website, but you can no longer send emails informing on your fellow Americans to flag@whitehouse.gov. They do, however, give you another address to use to contact them so don't worry, comrades, you can still send in your little fink notes informing on your fellow citizens (even though it is ILLEGAL for the white house to collect information on private citizens).

The fact that so many people were receiving unsolicited emails from the White House and David Axelrod without a satisfactory explanation from the White House on how they got those emails, coupled with this sudden shutdown of their flagging email for "fishy" forwards, only proves that they were collecting that data and moreover, they used it to send emails back to people whose information was forwarded to them by the local snitches.
On the one hand, this is not the most unlikely scenario from such an inexperienced administration, but if you don't know what you're doing, get some advice. On the other hand it shows the arrogance of this administration, they think they can break the law, and do whenever it suits their purposes.

It was covered on Fox and Drudge, but hey, those sites aren't allowed on the PCs of the PC liberals so they will never know. It was covered on blogs and through viral videos. Citizen journalists are spreading the information that the press won't. I can't imagine what makes people close their eyes and put their hands over their ears so they can't hear or see any evil. I read CNN, I check the other media, I want to see the difference and know what EVERYONE is reporting. We have only ourselves to blame for accepting this failure of the media and we need to let them know we won't accept it anymore.

Well the low life's of MyLot will be happy to know they still have a website to rat out their fellow MyLotter to master Obama. I do wonder how many MyLot post got sent to Obama's snitch website. I can only hope that one of my post got sent to Obama. I would wear it as a badge of honor.

Thank Obama I managed to report you and the rest of the right wing extremists on this web site. I'm glad they set up an alternate email. I have several friends and family who have been saying not so nice things about our lord Obama. I'll be forwarding their information to him so he can correct their behavior. It would be unAmerican not to.

Wow! If it's illegal for the whitehouse to collect unsolicited email addresses, then it must be really illegal to collect a bunch of FBI files and bring them in for scrutinizing, huh?

It's amazing the things that exist in this country. Just the other evening my husband and I were discussing some of the things coming out from fundamentalist conservative Christian groups here in the United States and my husband's comment was "And people forget this is exactly how Nazi Germany began". If we don't stay aware of this type of thing we're doomed to repeat history right here in the USA.
