blogger website?

what do you know about the blogger website?
I was reading that you can earn about 500.00 in a few weeks using the blogger web site. I am green when it comes to seeing how to earn real money on line. from what i can tell i would have to have my own web site. well I am not ready to have a website of my own. so what is the difference with a blog and a website?
Also on a blog it mentions that i would just give reviews on different products but i am not clear on how oyu would earn money for that.
Has any one really made money using a blog site?

a website is a collection of web pages. a blog is a collection of chronologically arranged posts. a blog is sort of like an online diary.
You won't make money just by blogging. You need to learn search engine optimization (SEO) to be effective if you are planning to do web publishing.

well thank you for the informaiton but i am not sure you are allowed to put other sites addresses on my lot. I hope they don't trash my post.
