How can 40'000 cash be doubled or trippled in a short space of time?

Okay so say you had 40 grand and wanted to double it or even triple it if possible in a very short space of time how would you do it? what ways are there to do it?, the turn around time needs to be maximum 4 weeks.
Your thoughts and ideas people.

Lend it to someone who can pay you back double in four weeks. Otherwise, consider the advise of the two guys ahead of me - try gambling. Though, it needs a lot of risk to do it. Remember the rule in investment "High Risk, High Return. Low Risk, Low Return". Goodluck.

well, there is no other option but to go around gambling absolutely. you would have to bet your money on horse racing or do casino royale stuff to be able to do that. i cannot hink of any other way in which you could double your money legally. even investing in stock markets will probably get you limited gains.
