About two months ago we spred some rocket seeds in our garden and it have been prospering! For the last four weeks we lived on fresh rocket salad everyday. It tastes nice and fresh. It says once vegetable is picked, it will lose most of its nutrition within two hours. Buy veggies from supermarket will never give you as much freshness and nutrition as home-grown and pick-to-eat ones. We also have a fig tree in the corner. There have been lots of rain and sun and figs grow gigantic. We enjoy freshly picked figs everyday since the beginning of this month. It is really rewarding to have some fruit and veggies growing in the garden.

Hi, there. Me and my mom made a vegetable garden located at our backyard, same as you are it is so nice to have a fresh vegetables to eat on, it is much tasteful rather than eating vegetables from the supermarkets. Me and my mom are excited every time we see new one growing. When it comes to fruits we often buy at the wet market but if we have time to visit our farm my mom make sure that we're leaving with a basket full different variety of fresh fruits.

Indeed! Fresh vegetables and fruits taste much better than those from supermarkets. And it feels nice to eat something which you know where it is from. So your mum has a farm? What kind of vegetables and fruits does she grow there?

well, anything and everything in the market. Every harvest season me and my family love to stay at the farm to join them in harvesting crops. Gee! I love those moment when me and my cousins drain the pond so that it will be easy for us to catch fish(catfish)using our hands. I miss those moments amd I miss also my Grandfathers workers, they are all good to us.

I find growing things, especially fruits and vegetables, is very rewarding and the experience is unforgettable. I bet your family all have green fingers. It is nice to have a farm to grow some of your food. It is like a call to the Nature and the Nature answers back. :)

We grow some veggies in my garden. This year it's tomatos, beans, zucchini, & crook neck squash. I finally figured out this year I have a mullberry tree but I never knew it was one & never saw it fruit til this year & we've been here 7 years.

Wow, you get squash! You must be experienced with growing food in the garden. I would like to have a mullberry bush in my garden as well, to add to my 'berry selection'. But how come it didn't fruit at all for the past seven years? Curious. I talked with a girl today about vegetables in her parents garden. Apparently they get some sweet peas, and they grow really big this year. We never grow any thing which 'climbs' since they need a bit management from time to time. Hopefully we will sort out some space for this in the future. Lovely to see more different veggies grow!

I grow some vegetables in my PetSociety game as well. It's very cute but too bad I can't eat them. :( I heard lots of people living in London, because of the limit of space, try to grow their fruit and veggies on the balcony. Things like spinach, bean sprouts or even tomatos can easily be kept in a small space. Guess it is one way they do to beat high living price in London.

My parents have a vegetable as well as a fruit garden in their backyard. I always go there for my fruits and veggies, it saves money and is even more delicious then buying them in the supermarket. They have a large amount of tomatoes growing, as well as lemons and oranges.

It is surely convenient to know some people who grow food in their garden. Parents will never say no to provide you with some extra nutrition. :) Tomatos seem to be the most common plant in people's garden. A friend of mine keeps a big one in her conservatory even though her garden is decent size, because she can easily attain her tomatos even when she's talking on the phone. :P
