I love Olivia Newton-Johns early albums - I don't know if the music is completelly country, but it has a country touch to it! And I kind of have to like Dolly Parton, because I've worked in a production of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, the country-musical that she starred in for the film-version in 1982!
