How do you prepare your breakfast?

I go to work at 7:40 a.m in the morning. I usually get up at 7 o'clock and quickly wash and dress, then go downstairs to buy buns before getting on the company bus. Time's limited for me to cook for myself. Buying breakfast is not nutrient. What do you think, do you do the similar, or do you cook every morning? If you do cook, please share me your thoughts on quick cook methods, thanks.

Dear friend, that's really great if you mother cook it for you. I have to cook myself, as I live far away from home

I do not work outside of the home. I get up when my 1 year old twins get up. usually around 7 or 7:30. I change them then get them breakfast. Pancakes, toast, cerael, or fruit, things like that. Then when my 7 year old gets up I get him breakfast. He usually just asks for cereal. During the school year, I have to be more efficient since I have less time. On the weekends, I match big batches of pancakes or french toast and freeze them. That way if my kids want them I can just heat them up. Toast and eggs I do frsh becasue those are quick. Once in awhile I will buy pop tarts or toaster pastries. Not very often though. My husband has made breakfast sandwiches, using english muffins or bagels the night before. That way he can either warm it up and it at home or warms it up at work. He also keeps bagels in his desk becasue the company he works for has toasters and toaster ovens. And a fridge if anything needs to be kept cold.

Easier to make the breakfast if we've got a fridge and heat up machine, like microwave oven, or toaster oven, huh? But don't you think that food kept in the fridge's not that fresh?

I never have time to prepare or eat a Breakfast here at home before I head off to work. I usually will either bring yogurt that I have brought from a store and take to work with me, stop at McDonalds and buy me something from their $1 breakfast menu, or pick up a bagel or something from one of the places close to where I work. Since I have to be to work early, and usually only give myself about 30 mins. or so to get ready I have no time to cook here at home either.

BUt as i grew older, i started skipping breakfast.. lol =D MAybe, u can prepare a simple breakfast instead, and do it the night before.. So that next day b4 u leave for work, u can eat it straight from the fridge ^_^

Wow, hatley, why are you getting tired of being retired? You have enough time to do whatever you want. Why not try travelling in China to see the beautiful secneries?

I do not cook, however, early morning easy to cook meals are bacon and eggs, and toast. Even if that's the only thing you have, or one out of the three, it is easy and fast to cook. Though you may want to get up a few minutes earlier, these meals won't take long to make, and they are healthier then what you get out. Also, French Toast is fast to make though I didn't specify that because of it being a bit sweet. Egg, Milk, and Sugar, mixed together and dunked on top of the bread, smoothed out... fried, voila! French Toast!
