Compare to the salary, i don't think i can afford. I avoid going shopping as much as possible to save money.

I try to as well, but it's just so hard. I always get catalogs in the mail with special offers and such, so I'm tempted. I'm also a full-time college student so it's very hard for me to afford clothes all the time. I'm hoping myLot can help me with some of those expenses.

I hope i can earn more too, here or some other place. But i can't get the money i earned in mylot as i don't live in the USA or have a HK card. I'm not a student, i work for 2 years now, but still find it difficult to make a decent living. Work harder. Good luck

I know! I never wear any sort of cosmetics because I just can't stand them. Can't believe the prices of many of the clothes either. It's more rediculous if you're a fuller figured girl. It's up to 10 or more dollars for fuller figure girls clothes. Hate, hate, hate that.

INdeed, clothes and cosmetics are expensive.. BUT comparing the two, i find that cosmetic are even more expensive.. hehe ^_^ Clothes, we can go for those not branded ones, but cosmetic, it's standard.. Gals, are paying for the quality just to let themselves look good and thus, there's no way they can save on that.. hehe ^_^ BUt clothes, it all depends on how one mix and match, thus it's not as costly, compared to cosmetic, which are often endorsed by supermodels, and those well known brands such as maybeline, l'oreal etc.. lol =D

Yeah, it is expensive. If one really does not need new clothes then its okay to just use what we have and save the funds for spending on other necessities. Cutting back on our expenses and sacrificing our wants is also one way to save. Sure it might be hard on us especially when we are so used to having those wants that its hard to part with them. But hey, we gotta do everything we can to survive and live day to day right?

Hi lynettebyc.... I'm not into cosmetics and clothes. But if I do need to purchase new items, I don't go for super branded items that will cost a lot. But I also don't buy those on very, very low prices but questionable quality. Shopping is really a purse's nightmare. Especially if we're on a tight budget. But if I really have to buy new clothes, it's because I badly need it. But I go for the prices that are just in the "middle". Not too pricey, but not too so affordable that I will have to replace it next month.
