When a good friend moves across the country.......

I moved away from the place i lived all my life 7 years ago, and i had many friends, and after all this time their is only a few that i have been in constant contact with, all the rest i have lost contact with. When ever i go back for a visit i always get together with them, and we spend time together. And it is always good to see them again

just few days back my friend dissapeared to swiss... not we both are in contact through cell phone or net.. but itz kinda sad feeling.. when our gud friend is not with us.. then u knw wht happns..!!

My best friend and I now live about 900 miles apart, but we are still very close. We talk when we can, but haven't been able to see each other in 2 years. It gets a bit rough for the both of us, but, we are great friends and nothing will change that. If she needs an ear to listen at 2 in the morning, she knows I will be her ear. The same goes the other way. I guess, for us, we just understand that we both have things in our day to day lives to take care of and we will talk when we have the time to do so.

It depends upon my good friend if she would communicate when she gets there I would respond and I will surely be in contact with her especially during special occassions. It would take both our efforts in maintaining our good friendship. Like others said, it would take two to tango.

constant communication is very much important especially that you're living apart... making an effort of visiting during holidays is such a petty thing but it can create a very good feeling on your friend's heart

I send messages, contact by phone, try to meet him when holiday. send a greeting card for his birthday and pray for him.
