I am. xD I started reading the Twilight saga around the time the movie came out last year. I finished it within a month or two, and was not totally satisfied. I never really had a thing for vampires before, but I looked into other popular vamp series and came across the Southern vampire books- which HBO;s true blood is based on. I started reading them and I'm addicted! Some of the characters and plot points are eerily similar to Twilight, though.

I am getting back to Young and The Restless after a 20 year absence. What was funny is that one of the storylines is the same one that they had when I left. And it isbeing played by the same actors.I am not addicted yet but I am working on it.

Oops.I'm sorry I thought you were talking t.v. When it comes to reading the only author I have read more than one book was Armistead Maupin's Tales Of The City and More Tales Of The City.

If you are getting into Vamp stories then I HIGHLY recommend J.R Wards Blackdagger Brotherhood series...those books are BRILLIANT...they have action, romance, humour and are just amazing....I'm also a huge fan of True Blood and in fact do have the Sookie Stackhouse book series but havent had a chance to read them yet.

I'm hooked on J.R.Wards Blackdagger Brotherhood series also and I love them. They are everything you said and more. I read them over and over. I can't wait until I'm able to get the next installment about Revhenge this will be real good. Other authors that have really good vampire series that I read are Lyndsay Sands, Cameron Dean and L.A.Banks. Anyone who loves True Blood would love L.A.Banks, she wrote or co-wrote those books and many others.

I have been meaning to check out the Twilight series but haven't gotten around to it. Are they really good? I loved the Harry Potter series and am so sad that they are over. The day the book came out I would sit and read it cover to cover. I am looking or another good series. I love The Babysitters Club and the R.L. Stine series when I was younger. I just haven't found too many series I like as an adult.

when I was addicted to read I found the serie of the cave bear. And I could read them over and over. The books are thick, and it took some time to read them. But I had a month of holiday, and I just read them over and over. I am waiting for the next one to come out.

I guess I could say I'm currently also addicted to the Twilight Saga. I'm almost finished with book 3!!! The only other series I can think of are the Shopaholic books. I'm pretty sure that would be considered a series. I've only read the first book though. Looking to get more of those soon!

I am addicted to fantasy novels, such as A Song of Ice & Fire series. I think George.R.R.Marin is really a great writer. His characters are so real that I feel I am breathing together with them while I am reading his works!

And some of the Twilight story is eerily similar to the Buffy-Angel romance. *shrug* I am addicted to the Dresden Files. I really enjoyed the show when it was on SciFi channel but it got canceled after only 12 episodes and that made me sad so I decided to give the books a whirl. They are quite a bit different from the show but just as captivating. There are 11 books out now plus four supplemental books. I've read 10 of the original books because I just can't enjoy reading hard cover books and the most recent doesn't come out in paperback until March and all of the supplemental books are still in hard cover.

I am addicted to various animes, such as naruto, and also sometimes get hooked to Hindi soap operas. I am hooked to a book series named Egyptian saga, by Wilbur smith, although there isn't much in it except Egyptian lifestyle and their fables. But I very much enjoy it....

About the similarity point you brought up, well to some extent there is always going to be overlapping, especially within small genre and sub-genre areas. There are only so many vampire series and most are going to draw inspiration either from the same source or one another. Check copyright dates in the front of the books and you generally get an idea on who might have gotten ideas from who. Though that rarely helps when they draw inspirations from something much older than more contemporary works. What can I say, I read way too much and I write (and do unreal amounts of research). I tend to also read the really old things and it's always kind of cool to suddenly see references in modern works. As far as series, I like the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series by Laurell K. Hamilton, though the older books, at least in my opinion are better. And before that there was The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. That's the series that come to mind, which I prefer because really when the story has me hooked I don't want to stop just because there isn't another book. If you feel the same I recommend taking a look at fanfiction in the series of your choice. Most of it tends not to be that good, especially if the fan base is a lot of kids and teens, but there are generally some really good ones in there as well. Happy Reading.

I'm addicted to the Big Bang Theory. It's a TV show on CBS where like 4 nerds go places, and this really hot girl hangs out with them too. They would go to bars, contests, comic store, etc. It really funny to me because they are all really smart and they talk really nerdy and are comic nerds. It's really funny and I suggest who ever is reading this can give the show a try.

I used to be majorly addicted to Laguna Beach and The Hills. I would literally cry if I missed an episode. I have stopped obsessing over them now though and thye are just something I watch now and then. For books..I dont think Ive ever had an obsession for a series...Im not a big fan of the Twilight Sga..I do however love the Darren Shan Saga and thats as close to as obsession with books that Ill get to. My big obsession if actually with a movie. Now I could watch this everyday. adn practically do. I have movie memorbilia for it and know the lines by heart. It even included in my user name haha..Talk about loving a movie. I also made a fansite for it once. Yep I sure love it. I dont think its bad to love something though..just dont go to far as to do something crazy but having a little obsession is ok.

Yes I do. I am currently addicted to Heroes and The Sarah Connor Chronicles and previously Prison Break series. I had a very huge collection of these series. I just started to watch HBO's True Blood and I think I like it. Anna Paquin is fantastic and hot.

Ahh I have been addicted to many a series in my day. The last major series I got addicted to was an anime called D.Gray-man, which is where my avatar is from. It is on a hiatus at the moment, but should it ever return I shall most definitely become addicted again. Other than that I am also a pretty dedicated X Men fan when movies or cartoons are being aired, not so much the comics though as they would cost too much for me to collect, especially back issues!
