Maybe the Indian govt will take a leaf out of this and do something about Netaji and other heroes whose paths were different from Gandhi-Nehru and hence no given much importance these days. During the INA days, Netaji was a hallowed name throughout South-east Asia till Japan and he along with the INA marched towards India thru the wild terrains of Burma and North-east India and liberated Indian land occupied by the British till Manipur…it was a huge achievement and a great inspiration to other colonial countries there, most of which were colonized by the British.

hi sudip ... do you think there would be difference in India if Subash was was the main person in India's indipendance and not Gandhi

malayasia as a unified state did not exit until 1963.previously a set of colonies were established by the united kingdom from late 18 th century and the western half of modern malaysia was composed of several separate kingdoms.this group of colonies was know as british malaya until its dissolution in 1946,when it was reorganised as the malaya union. due to wide spread opposition it was reorganised again as the federation of malaya in 1948 and later gained independence on 31 august 1957

Hello my friend sanjana_aslam Ji, It's great honor shown to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He was a great patriot like Jhansi-Ki-Rani, Bhagat Singh, Raj-Guru, Chandra-Shekhar Azad with others. But mystry about Netaji still remains fresh in my mind. What happened to him. I salute Netaji and join all to celebrate this occasion. May God bless You and have a great time.

With my all honor to the great Netaji, I wish to say that why we are still giving so much importance. No doubt, he was in deep love of this nation but the way he functioned during the last of his days was ridiculous, to say the least. Taking the support of Hitler, though he could not, was nothing but.....Then again he was a communist, if he would have become the PM then like Bhagat Singh would have curtained the ultimate freedom that Indian have enjoyed and still enjyoing.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was one of the greatest personalities India ever produced . Though he had done some blunder during his later years, yet I think his name deserve more recognition and state honor than currently being provided by Indian establishment. He was a man of action and was once on the verge of beating the British Indian powerful army. A real acumen, he topped the ICS and then left the high profile service to serve the nation. Indian government should take a cue from their counterpart in malasia.
