I love dogs and I have many friends who have dogs, I myself have a rottweiler , and I continuously feel that the only thing dogs cant do is talk, they express so much almost everything, and so well, off course i suppose it has to be with a person with whom they are in constant touch and the person also educated to read and understand their expressions and feelings, what do you people feel...

Obviously dogs are not human but I understand what you're trying to say. I also have a dog and she's so cute. Oftentimes she seems to want a conversation with me but just can't utter a word. If only they can speak then it would be awesome. Now I wonder if the gadget in the movie "UP" that was used by dogs to speak will become available in the future. shadow41

If it is by me I would say that some dogs are more human than human.

Dogs have their own way of expressing their emotions and a good owner can understand what it says at the time.Well,we can't expect it to converse with us.But it have different sounds to distinguish its feelings. And body language helps more for a dog to speak. So,A dog can speak and only we have to learn to understand their language. But comparing it to humans is too much,I think.Cheers!

Of course dogs are like humans, they do talk. Everytime I ask my dogs what they want they say something. When I hit on what they want they jump all over the place and start talking up a storm. When I hit on what they don't want they just stare at me like to say come on stupid say the right thing, u know what Im talking about. When I get home from work, they start talking up a storm. Telling me what they need by running to their water bowl, running to the door to get out. Each time I get what they need or want they tell me..They are Bouviers, they have to get the last word in..Boxers are the same but worse. I had Rotti's awhile ago and they did the same..

No I dont think dogs are humans but I understand what you are saying and tend to agree with the notions. Dogs can be better than humans at times! They are understanding, trustworthy, emphathetic and loyal to the last. Dogs have such an amazing ability to interact and read the needs of humans. Look at the guide dogs and those that are used to detect when an epileptic is about to fit.
