Hey there whats your worst computer experience? Mine is: Ok when I was like 9 (in 2000) I got my first computer. I was so exited that my dad also bought me a game for it. I played the game for hours. I was thrilled to have my new computer. Then all of a sudden my computer froze. I didn't know what was happening at the moment. I freaked out I thought I had broken my new 1500 dollar computer. It took me three years to grab a computer by myself.

1st: on our first computer, i was having a hard time removing the memory module and i ended up breaking the end part that's supposed to hold it. 2nd: placing a harddrive on top of each other isn't a good idea. i ended up with a blank harddrive. partitions were deleted. files were deleted, as well. 3rd: i was testing a virus on my machine to see how good my antivirus is. when i executed the virus, it wiped my entire harddrive.

yup .. sometimes you have to learn things that hardway. so now, whenever i want to test a certain file or software, i'd use a virtual machine that way it won't affect any of the files on my computer.

At work then, we have this network with 3 servers and 12 workstation, we where infected by the "I love you" virus exactly at the time our antivirus expires and when we're about to leave the office. It took me the whole night till dawn disinfecting, isolating and re-enabling protection. My FTUE confronting a globally acclaimed menacing virus. This one gave me the flash life before my very eyes thing.

Due to the timely detection, I was able to restore practically everything except for some images and email attachment, our system and data was not touched, they hardly felt the ill effects. In a way I was sort off commended that next day, but it was more of a personal satisfaction that I overcome it and it build my confidence in dealing with this things.

Hello, Probably my worst computer experience could was when I had a desktop that kept on restarting itself whenever it felt like. I was always given a surprise when I was doing my schoolwork or playing games. Absolutely terrible! Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I was using XP SP2 happily from 3 year. Then i came across the pics of windows vista and i brought new 1gb RAM nad 128 mb graphic card ( man that was india in 2007). and i installed vista. and but what i got was a uncooked os that was although attractive in terms of UI, but sucked!!!. It stopped in midlle of everything and anything, the overwhelming mother UAC disturbed me alot and it didnt had any thing called speed.this was my worse computer experience.
