Is it true that women can't get along well with other women in the work place?

yes u r right....women are great actresses ....it all depends on nature vijay...many man are also good in acting...even they are good flurts...they praise their co-worker women and ask them for tea and coffee often...i don't know all this but my working friend has told me her experiences...maybe u r shy or reserved ..so u might be feling like that...it all depends

To a point I think it can be true. When you get a group of women together sometimes it reminds me of highschool. Unfortunately, the gossip level can go through the roof. I think we can also get along with eachother better than we can get along with men on a more personal level. It's easier for me to have a conversation about my life outside of work with another woman than with a man. I can talk nicely to a person and not really like that person. If the reason I don't like them is work related, I try to find the right way and time to let them know what it is they do that bothers me. If it's a personality conflict I just try to keep everything strictly business with that person (male or female).

I think women and men are the same in that area, I don't believe only women are the people who can't get along with other women in the office. Me I can get along with every co-worker in my office and some of the women too in our office can get along with each other. The truth is some of the women can't get along but some men too. It is not always us. In my former Job, my boss and the other boss on different department were not talking to each other for a year because of the past problems.

I think that's a stereotype, right there. 99% of the women I've worked with - I've totally gotten along with. In fact, I'm more likely to get along with women than men in the workplace, for some reason.

It depends upon the nature of the women with whom they are interacting, it is a fact that women cannot get along well with other women, not only in their work place in other areas too. But, there are instances where women do get along very well with another women particularly in their work place. They are helped by a women coworker in case of health or family problems at the work place. Their work is taken over by a close lady colleague during her absence from work and so on.

I know men who can talk nicely to men without liking them, this has nothing to do with man of women. As for the question, most of the time I do have trouble getting along with other women in the work place. Normally that was because I got compliments and I always tried to do a good job. I took my work seriously. And I did not wear make-up like they did. I did not see the sense, I am working not going to a beauty contest. There were lots of times that women did not like me. I am an independent kind of person. Luckily. And so yes, I got along better with the men than with the women. Women tend to be more in competition with each other. Men do this too, but in a different way.

Hello Vijay, I don't think so. It could be depending on what work and in situation. But with generally speaking that women can easily get along with men...well,maybe becoz men always acts like gentlemen thinking he might be flirting soon (hahaha kidding) Women can't be open?...nah,women are very transparent unlike men who hardly speaks what's on their minds.

I dont think its necessarily teh fact that women dont get along its more of a combination of their personalities, you often find its the ones with stronger personalities that clash in the workplace. Male or female it doesnt really bother me im there to do my job at the end of the day and as long as everyone else does theirs then there shouldnt be any problems right?
