How would you rate your sense of humour?

This is a totally none egotistical exercise (really). I am just curious about how members would rate themselves in the humour stakes. Use the same criteria that you would when you are judging the humour of a friend (or if you want to be a touch harsh on yourself, perhaps even a comedian!), and be honest! Also, what type of sense of humour do you reckon you have?
On a personal level I have a very sarcastic sense of humour. Half the things I say are probably sarcastic, and definitely most of the random thoughts and jokes that I crack, and those which make me laugh, are of the sarcastic variety, very little else tends to get me laughing. So I would probably give myself an 8 maybe, one) because it is my favourite number, and 2) because I really like my sense of humour and definitely think that it is one of the better aspects of my personality.
So your turn, how do you rate your sense of humour, and why?

I don't think I have a great sense of humor but I do make some fun sometimes with people and they will laugh :-p sometimes when I tell joke, they think I am silly though 
I think when a person is being funny, he doesn't need a joke joke to tell but just by talking or describing things funnily is hourous enough and can make everybody laughs!

Ivy, the "being funny" is no more no less than mirroring your inside status. If you are inside you only serious, allways worried, all time making choices and consider doubts about what's next stap .. kiss good bye sense of humour.
As about trying hard to stay only serious .. this is very dangerous to your future. See bellow why:
One day the Devil decided to gave up and become good and nice. He Go to God and tell's him this. God said" then you'll live a normal life? Have a wife and stuff?"
The devil said "Yes, I will go down town very "rich style" dressed and driving a million dollar car and whistle all nice looking girls. The one serious, which won't turn head and look intersted, that will be my bride.
Said and done.
First girl .. whistlee .. she turn head, see the car .. smile .. rejected ..
And so on and on and on ..
Few days later, after lot of fails, devil decide to make one last try: seen a girl, whistle .. nothing. Going closer, saying few pickup lines .. nothing.
So, this serious girl was the devil choice.
The moral ?
STOP being serious, or Devil will take you !!!

Others would probably give me a 6 or so, but thats because most ppl dont get my sense of humor i think.
like you, im sarcastic and warped. i find glee in the pain of others lol! and their misfortunes..not tragic misfortunes but the ones where you think "WHAT did you would possibly happen by doing that?!" type of misfortune.
personally since its usually up to me to provide entertainment for myself..i find myself hilarious and would rate my sense of humor at least an 8..modestly of course.

I shall definitely agree with your score of 8 because just reading your explanation made me laugh, especially when you mentioned you 'find glee in pain of others', that is definitely my type of humour (the phrasing more than the context lol).

Humor is so important. Especially when you're older and once there are a lot of things going on in your life it is important to laugh.
I think I am funny and have a good sense of humor. I appreciate a good joke here and there. I'm not comedian material but I still make them laugh when I need to.

My humor mood? I would have to say that I can be humouous or just plain funny. Before I decide what kind of action that I need to show, I look around at the audience and decide what I should do. There are many different situations that call for different attitudes. For the most sake I am a normal homourous person. I like the laugh just like the next person.
