Why do "mylot quizzes" need so much personal information from you?

I got pretty far and in fact, finished the quiz but then it wanted my home address and phone number. I felt it was getting a bit too personal so I left. There is no real reason why such a quiz would need that much information from you. I would get an email, but the phone number and home address? Makes no sense. What're your thoughts? Do you feel they were getting a bit too personal after you completed a quiz?

I think they're fairly new like. A few days old. I remember being on 2-3 days ago or so and not seeing the quizzes there at all. The quizzes are actually quite interesting.. until you get to the end and have to give away so much personal information for the answers!

I just learned today about the quizzes, I had planned on checking it out. Then I read number 2's response and changed my mind. I realize that new feature is probably paying mylot a nice sum of money, but there is already way too much sharing of info on the internet.

I took a quiz, anticipating my answer when I reached the page where you had to fill out the personal information. I was so dismayed. I agree with you 100%, why do they need the phone number and home address? It's not like they're going to mail the quiz results to us via snail mail.. I don't get it.
