I've been on a diet since December and lost almost 30 pounds.. I'm not totally sticking to it otherwise I would have lost more. I cheat a little on the weekends. I'm getting to the point were I drive myself crazy by constantly talking about my weight and how many calories I've eaten and how many grams of fat is in certain foods. My honey is ready to pull his hair out if I say one more time " I think I gained weight this week" and he has lots of hair to be pulling. I think I'm done trying to loose anymore as long as I don't gain it back. So since my honey is sick and tired of my weight stories I thought I share them with you "My Friends". Do you have an Obsession and do you drive your friends and family crazy by talking about it all the time?

I probably drive 'em nuts to when I am dieting which I am right now. Nothing worse then having to fix two separate meals and have to smell the yummy food of my hubby's food. While I get food a rabbit would love. I don't eat at family gatherings when dieting but It does say to treat yourself on the weekend as long as a person doesn't go out hog wild on it. Like eat a sensible breakfast and lunch but eat what you want for supper on the weekend. It helps alot when dieting starts to be stressful..you can only say..wait till the weekend then I can have this or that..I heard more diets work when they have their treats on the weekend as long as they don't go to overboard. And congratsulation on losing the 30 pounds. I am just starting my diet today..yet..again... Lets just hope I don't fall off the wagon so soon after.

Hi missy! I wouldn't worry about your honey! He'll survive! As long as you feel better about you that's all that matters! I wish I could lose the 15 pounds that I put on! I can't ever stick to a diet! I am very bad about counting calories or watching what I eat! I either totally stop eating out of nervousness or overeat! There is no in between for me! Now that I have put on the extra pounds I will have a really hard time taking them off! I have taken out my "Power Rider", which is a piece of exercise equipment and let my bf put in smack in the middle of the livingroom! I got on it so far once! I'm not good at doing exercise either! But, I have to do something at this point because I hate the way I look! I put the weight on in the middle so I hate looking at myself now and I can't stop eating! I gained about 8 pounds on my vacation! So now I am obsessed with getting rid of them! My bf has a "cleaning" obsession! He loves to clean and wants me to love to clean too! Not happening!

I wish my honey had a cleaning obsession, he's good at doing the dishes but there could be 2 inches of dust on the furniture and it wouldn't bother him. Except on the TV and Computer screen . I had an exercise bike sitting in my bedroom for almost a year and used it maybe 2 weeks. Exercise for me "NOT HAPPENING"

No!I don't have any obsession right now.But when I was a newbie here in mylot,I am obsessed a lot and use to narrate daily about the posts here and how I responded and how many best responses I got and how many posts I made and how much I have earned. She was interested in the beginning but later on saw it irritating.I think she is jealous. So,I stopped narrating to her and mylot has mingled with my life and it is not all an obsession any more.Cheers!

Sounds like you aren't doing bad with your diet if you've already lost 30 pounds. I think your entitled to cheat just a bit for working so hard at it all the time. I don't know that I talk about any one thing all the time but I do get onb kicks from thime to time about this or that. It may be work for a week and then my writing. I may get worried about something and yap about it alot. I think I'm just good at driving my family crazy on an in general basis.
