In my place most of the people watch serials of their language, Tamil, Kannada or Hindi. My husband watches English movies and news channels. I watch devotional songs and comedy from films programmes.

Yes, in each and every state people will watch their own language programmes which they will understand and interested. Some times they will watch the other language programmes too if they know and understand that language or enjoy that programme. In my house, i will watch telgu,tamil and hindi programmes, esp quiz related or recipe related and hubby watches cricket match and children watch english comedy movies
