What kind of incidents have you had while driving?

Last weekend I was traveling to to a pow wow out of state when the rim and tire came off of my trailer. I had to take two lug bolts off of the other tire to put the spare tire on (I did not find the other tire). A few weeks ago while traveling to another pow wow I got about 5 miles away when my car stalled out and woud not start. I called AAA and had the car towed back to the dealership for free but the trailer cost over a $100.00 to have it towed. What are some of the incidents that you have run into on trips?

My ex-husband was driving on a wet evening but before he reached a bridge his car skidded all over the place. It was terrifying and it seemed like we might end up in the river or hit a person walking along the pavement. Eventually his car came to a stop but we both felt really shaken up.
