South of the Border - SC

Last week, we were in Florida. We drove down, stayed a week and drove back. I've never done it before and it was kinda cool seeing some of the things. One thing I had heard a lot about was "South of the Border" in South Carolina. When my kids were younger their father took them to Disney and when they got home all they could talk about were the ZILLION signs for South of the Border and how it was such a huge disappointment. I had heard the same thing from other people, but I really had no clue what it was. Well, you know I had to stop... So, we crossed the border from North Carolina to South Carolina around 9am and we stopped so I could get a picture and a shot glass (I get shot glasses from everywhere!! So, let's get a head count - who had to stop at South of the Border? Or tell me about some other disappointment that you just had to go see!
