do you sleep in the noon?

sleep in the noon is a good habit of many people,but some people say that they could not sleep well at night if they sleep in the noon.As for me,I like to sleep in the noon,if I do this,I feel energetic in the afternoon till night,if not,I will feel tired.how about you?

Hi Cedar. Yes, I take a short nap every afternoon. If refreshes me for the rest of the day and does not interfere with night time sleep...unless the nap is too long! I think it is a healthy habit, and some studies have shown that though to be true. So napping is good Karen

A good habit! I like a nap too in the noon if I have not enough time to have a good sleep.and a nap is similar to an operating machine stop a short time to avoid over-heat and keep good condition to continue its next tusks.

Hi I am a working women and I can’t sleep in the noon because I will be in the office at that time. There is difference of opinion about day time sleep some are saying that it is good for health and vice versa. If a person can sleep 8 hours in night (I heard that 6 hours sleep is enough for an adult) then no need to sleep in day time. A good sleep in night is very necessary for good health.

yeah,what you say is right,an adult need only 6 to 8 hours sleeping at night.but a rest in the noon is also thought an good habit to one's health.

I love sleeping in the afternoon but when I nap, I couldn't sleep at night. Still, it feels great to rest in the middle of the day.

I can easy go to bed and fall in deep sleep even if I have a good sleeping or nap in the noon.My friends often complain that they could hardly fall in deep sleeping if they drink some coffee or tea before sleeping,and another negative effect of sleeping is when somebody feel anxious or worried about something.Thus,maintain a calm and open heart and soul is important.

Yes, I take a noon nap since I am working at night so I need to take a nap at noon,to recharge my self and to work again. When I woke up i feel recharge again and ready to work. and also it feels me relax, can easily answer some discussions in here when you are relax. slepping at noon gives relaxation to us.

yes,good rest includes relaxed nap,sleeping or entertainment.and the former two is prefered first.

hi, there. Not really beacsue If i do, at night it would be difficult for me to sleep, much more difficult. I have this little problem to get sleep early so what I usually do is to watch movies until my eyes get tired or atlest feel sleepy.

it seems that deep sleep is not easy for you to get.I suggest you do some exercises per day in the morning or at night,regular physical exercises may do good effect to your sleep.

I only sleep at night during the week because I start work at 2PM, so there would be no chance, with me having my two kids and everything. When the weekend comes, sometimes I am just so beat and just downright tired, I fall asleep in the chair or on the couch and for some reason if I ever sleep during the day/noontime, I get really warm and have intense dreams, and I wake up almost even more tired than before I slept, and I feel lazy and really crappy for the rest of the day lol. So even though I crave naps, I dont enjoy them afterwards LOL!

yeah i too sleep in the noon.Im very good in that..hahaha When i sleep in the noon i dont go to sleep at night soon.So maximum i avoid to sleep in the noon but sometimes if i get any holiday or when i get tired then no one can stop me....;)

hi cedar, i don't sleep during noontime or in the afternoon.. i just can't sleep.. i love sleeping only during nighttime.. and i also heard that sleeping those times can make you fat or something (dunno if it's really true).. maybe, i think so, lol.. janebeth.

i have this habit,especially i worked out at mornig,i hope that the sleeping at noon can relax and make me better,i found that sleeping is good for healty,so when i work at aftermoon,i can pay attention to my work and finish quickly.if i could not sleep at noon,i have not good spirit to do my work and looks not good mood.so this become my habit.
