I drink water straight from the bottle, lol. It's just me and my Husband at home and we drink bottled water because we don't have water purifier and the tap water isn't really safe. But only for small bottled water and we use glass for the big ones. I'm not sure about plastic cup not good for our health and I hope not because most of the time I go to a children party's they use plastic cup!

CJay77, I cant imagine having to drink from the bottle on a daily basis for me, hubs and my son. We drink water a lot and by alot I mean A LOT. So if I were to need to drink from bottle, we'll need at least 6 big bottles a day! I have a purifier at home and I still boil the water before drinking them. :)

I use steel glass for drinking water, it is the safest and also our traditional method of using them. They can be cleaned and used again and again so the question of un hygiene does not arise at all.

Steel glass.. oh yes! I've heard of that. But I've never tried that. It should be so cool to drink from a steel glass. I've seen them doing it in movies and I always imagined myself drinking water that way. I think I must go and find some steel glass to try drinking that way at home. My boy would probably enjoy that!

I use a plastic bottle to drink water at work. Normally at home I use steel/glass tumblers to drink water. I have read that it is not safe to drink/consume anything that is stored in a plastic container. Happy mylotting. :)

You don't need to so worried about that.It is not health when you drink hot water with plastic bottle. When plastic is heated ,some chemical substance may permeate into hot water.Drink cold water is ok.lol

Well because I generally only drink water from the tap I use a plastic bottle which gets refilled several times a day. My feeling is that although there is evidence which says the storage of water in plastic is not good I believe that as in my case the water never stays in the bottle for too long I needn't worry so much.

Hello mickly08, I use glass to drink water. I do it because of health but it looks better. I like to see water through clean glass. They look real good and makes me want to drink more. Drinking from plastic cup just didnt do the justice. It brings no satisfaction.

Hi,submerryn. It looks nice,it is true. But more important is that it is safe for us to drink water.I get used to drink water with one glass,no matter it is hot water or cold water.

I like glass. I'm not sure if it's healthier, probably is considering plastic can contain phtalatates (sp?) or whatever else they use to mold it. I just like glass because it's more homelike, not as cheap looking, and I've always thought constant use of plastic cups within the home was sort of impersonal and a little trashy. It stays colder than plastic too, and I like the crisp 'clink' of the ice against the glass. Plus, there's less garbage to take out, and definitely not near as wasteful.
