forgive and forget?

I am the kind of person that forgives too much and I don't forget all the time, but I am doing a lot better at forgetting things. I can easily forget things my friends did that hurt cause they are friends, but sometimes I Think it is harder to forget when a lover hurts us because well we love them. We expect more from them.

The same is true in my case. I can forgive easily but its hard to forget. Good thing is, i dont bring up the topic anymore. In due time, I will forget all those that are meant to be forgotten.
