I don't knnow how many of mylotters watch this series. But Monk pretty fun to watch. He's back with Final Season, and he is going to solve the big case the murder of his wife Trudy. Can't wait to see it and I heard his previous assistant Sharona will show up again.
Anybody excited too?

Don't give too much away when the season gets started. Here in the UK we only got the last season around Christmas time, so I don't want to know what happens with Trudy's murder.
I'm am too disappointed that it's going to be the last season, I really love watching it and have such a laugh at the stupid things Monk gets upto. I thing that it is one programme that could actually run and run as the storylines seem to be never ending.
I've always thought they could do a prequel to it, Monk The Childhood Years. Imagine how odd he would have been!

Just a little update to what I wrote previously. Monk The Childhood Years is actually on its way. It has just been done in the US with the the working title of Young Monk.
You can imagine my delight and shock when I read it. I'd had this ideas for a few years now, so I wish that I had contacted the writers/producers and I might have been able to get in on it somehow. Well we can all dream can't we?

More disappointed than excited. Monk is my favorite show to watch, and I hate the fact that its the last season. Other than sports there are few shows other than Monk that I look forward to watching every Friday night. I have seen every episode at least 3 times.

I haven't actually watched it regularly since Sharona left the show. Never could get into the new nurse.
On the whole I think it's time for it to go. I hadn't realized it ran for so long, I thought it was still around season 5. It's just getting repetitive. It's so episodic, and has so few main characters who don't really change... There's a point at which enough really is enough, and I think that point came and went a while back.
