interchanging crookneck squash w/ Zucchini?

I know people use them togeather as a stirfry but how about in baking? If I don't have enough for zucchini bread could I substitute the crook neck yellow squash?

You can pretty much use yellow squash with or in anything that zucchini's in...but yellow squash usually TAKES ON the flavor of things, rather than adding flavor to, so usually its best to just use it with not instead of.

I grew some of that and it was nothing but seeds, no meat to it!!
Made me mad, especially since I swear I planted butternut!
You can substitute the yellow squash for zucchini, it won't really change the flavor or the texture. Enjoy your delicious bread!
