My celebrity wedding

Bet you all didn't know I used to be married to Ron Howard, huh? 
Well not really. I had this friend who was trying to get into the clothing business. She made wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses and also magician's costumes. I modeled some of them for her. This picture is my own wedding dress.
We worked with a woman named Pam who had a 5 year old daughter and she was also modeling that day. Her daughter struck up a friendship with Ron Howard's daughter Bryce. (Photo studio was in a park in Encino back when he lived in that area.) Anyway, he agreed to come in and have his picture taken with each of us.
And you thought the groom was just seriously tacky, huh?

It was almost Happy Days AND a kinky twist for young Dawn back then by the looks of it! 
What a cool picture to have! There's no way on earth I would've expected Ron Howard to become the famous Director he is today. Not after his Richie Cunningham role! Imagine how amazing it would be if you could get a pic of you 2 together again all these years later and then compare the 2?

wow dawnald was Ron Howard as nice as he looks? I thought
he was so cute as a kid playing Opie. I have admired his ability
as a movie producer and as an actorl You look great modeling
that dress more power to you. happy mylotting.He must be a really
nice guy to do that for you.

It’s really interesting experience. Before I read your post I had no idea who is Ron Howard, now I got some knowledge of him.
Can you tell us more your experience being a model? It sounds very interesting work. I’m really curious to know more about the story happened behind the picture. Happy mylotting.

I wasn't a professional model. My friend Carol made some costumes and some wedding dresses and needed people to model them for her. A friend of hers wanted to get into photography, so they helped each other out. He took the pictures for her and he got practice doing it.

Who knows if he would have been as nice. A lot of celebrities aren't. My husband worked at LA Airport and later at CBS studios and some of the "talent" were really nice, genuine people and some of them were real a**es.

And it looks like he still had most of his hair still.

He had most of his hair and his daughter's hair was just as red. Hm, got to dig up my picture with Michelle Kwan. lol
He didn't mud all over the dress. Aunt Bee would have whupped his behind!

Hi dawnald,
That photo is one to treasure and you looked just fab, so did Ron but he don't look like that no more, I loved him in Happy Days, he was so young and sooo handsome, that dress is just so beautiful.
