I am good at a lot of things but math is not one of them, I have no idea how to solve these two types of equations so if someone could explain it, I would be so grateful 10mm*5cm*8dm=_____dm3 _____L _______Mass of H20 another type is 13dm3=____l (do I just cube the 13 deciliters and then convert the number into liters)

10mm = 1 cm = 0.1 dm 5 cm = 0.5 dm 0.1 x 0.5 x 8 = 0.4 dm3 = 0.4 liter = 0.4 kg water /// 1 dm3 (cubic decimeter) = 1 liter water = 1 kg = 13 dm3 = 13 liters

Thanks to a friend of mine.... *Käe/Pleiades* says: *10mm*5cm*8dm=_____dm3 _____L _______Mass of H20 another type is 13dm3=____l (do I just cube the 13 deciliters and then convert the number into liters) *The first half is the actual problem.    *care David     says: *10mm * 50mm * 800mm = xxx dm3 *Käe/Pleiades* says: *Is that the answer...already?    *care David     says: *You should do the maths *Let me open the calc *the answer would be 400dm3 *which is 4 L *Käe/Pleiades* says: *Ok...thank you *Pleiades

The answer maybe like this 10mm*5cm*8dm=10mm*50mm*800mm=400000mm3 10mm*5cm*8dm=0.1dm*0.5dm*8dm=0.4dm3 13dm3=13l
