Hello fellow mylotters, As some of you are aware last week the 15th of August, I accidentally deleted my Hits4Pay account. It's not that hard to do as the delete account button is right next to the logout button so anyone could have easily made this mistake. It was very disheartening for me because I had $24.46 in earnings ( just 54 cents shy of my next payment ) and several referrals that I had accumulated over the past few years since I first joined the site. So I was really upset about it, and I contacted support and explained what happened. Well Martha from hits4pay did respond to me on Monday the 17th. She asked me to send my full name and a few other details to prove my identity which I completely understood because anyone could have contacted support pretending to be me. So I replied with the requested information , and she (Martha) has been very kind in working with me. Apparently the coder for the site says that since I deleted my account it is completely deleted from the database, but had it been them that deleted the account it would have been saved on a backup database. Now I don't know how these thins work exactly, but I can imagine that since the site has been open for 10 years, and that button is located in that particular location I'm probably not the first person to accidentally delete their account. I could be wrong but please humor me. So what I am understanding is that if someone were to get a hold of your password for Hits4Pay and log in to your account they can then delete your account, and your account can never ever be restored. So people do keep your passwords safe, because the only way someone can delete your H4P account is if they are logged in, and whatever you do, do not hit that delete button by accident LOL. Anyhow Martha said for me to go ahead and make a new account and if I could provide her with the user names of my referrals that I had she would manually enter them into my new account. I couldn't remember who I originally signed up under back in 2007, so I re-joined under a friend of mine. Well I didn't have the user names for all of my referrals, but I do have all of their email addresses, and I'm sure that she can look them up in the system or at least I hope so. I gave her the information I had and I am praying that they can at least get my referrals back for me. I am very pleased with the customer service I have no issue there. Martha has been polite and understanding about this whole thing. I'm just hoping and praying I can get my referrals back now. Have you had any experiences with Hits4Pay? Were they good or bad? If you know about databases and stuff, do you agree that my account can not be restored?

I still can not believe the do not have a backup system for this. And why has the coder for the site not moved the button anyway? As you said I am sure you are not the first to have this happen. I know you are strong and I know you don't give up easy so I know you will get to payout again. You know I never even log out there? I just go to a different page and get automatically signed out. I wish you the best my friend and keep your head up!

Hi olydove, Sorry to hear about the accidental deletion. You must feel so frustrated after accumulating quite a sum of money. Must be knocking your head then. I don't know anything about databases but Martha's explanation seems plausible. Hope everything turns out well for you. Good luck.
