Have you ever used a bidet?

I was reading this article http://www.newsweek.com/id/212145?from=rss on all the energy, water, and trees ect we Americans could save if we switched over to using bidets. It said a Japanese company was looking to take advantage of our need to go green thru their line of bidets. Have you ever used one? What do you think of it? And lastly is the water cold or do they heat it? I'd hate to stick my tush on one that was ice cold *LOL*

I have never used one and don't really understand how they work. I know they wash your behind in some way but some of that stuff has to be scrubbed off and what then? I don't think I could use something like that!

I've never used one because I have never been anywhere that had them. I would be interested to try one though. I wonder if they really work and get everything clean enough. I will have to ask my parents if they've ever used one.

Yes I have used it and still use it. It is very convenient and gives a clean feel when you use it. If the pipes are connected to the water heater you get hot water or else you have the usual pipe water. But take care to adjust the temperature before you use or else you may land burning your.........
