Stock trading has been my passion for quite sometime now.I am an impulsive buyer and go by gut feelings rather than any analysis.I havehowever burnt my fingers and hope to study a bit more.I am getting conflicting signals however and am not sure whether tecnicals or fundamentals-which is my cup of tea!!!

I think if you are going for longterm stocks then one must study the fundamental analysis. For shore term stocks or foy day trading price analysis is ok with some touch of fundamental analysis.I think one must look all the parameters before investing. Also one must consider other governing factors like the business environment and other governing factors which affects the stock prices.

You are absolutely correct. The only thing I would add is that no matter how smart you are and how much study you do, it is still possible to lose money in the stock market. Even still, you can make money in the market. Just never forget it is possible to lose.
