I noticed in some parts of the city, people peeing in the public places and while we passing through the way it stinks . There are a lot of public utility places are available with a minimum charge and people are not keen to use the same. There also after collecting the money, they are not maintaing it clean. Peeing in public places may cause many diseases in the future. The Government should not allow this to happen and provide more places for this. What is the situatin in other countries? I never visited a foreign country and I dont know what is happening there exactly. I heard that the Singapore law is very strict in this regard.

Unfortunately, this happens in what they called 3rd world countries like mine too. It's really sad to say that we pay for the use of public toilets. The money is use to keep the toilet clean and also for the cleaners' salary. The government cannot even support such. Peeing in public places is not allowed of course, but at night where nobody's around in places where lights are out, some people do it (specially drunks!). Yeah, Singapore is really clean. My cousin who works there says that even chewing gums are not allowed. Can u believe that? But i think there should be a policy to be strictly implemented to discipline the people.

Hi...Lucky Thank you for the response in this topic. I think as you told this is happening in 3rd world countries. The people those who are responsible for the maintainance are less bothered about the cleanliness of such places. If we are questioning them they will threaten us by using the name of the goons and the politicians. Even this public utility is a business of high profit . This politicians and thte thugs are sharing it. i agree with your concluding statement that there should be be a policy to be strictly implemented to discipline the people. But mu opinion that the people those who are going to implement it should be diciplined first

well, yes it's true. One time i asked one of the maintenance why they have to collect such fees. Since it's a public utility then it should be free. She answered that the government cannot pay enough for their salary, so to sustain this, they have to collect fees. In my country, they give ticket to us whenever we pay. It serves as the receipt. Well, i suppose the money that is alloted for them is already in someone's pocket. tsk! tsk!

Wow I have never heard of paying to pee. A public bathroom should be free. In my country they have free public bathroom but the men seem to get away with peeing in public. They don't need much effort to do what they need to. If I had a child and they really needed to go I would let them pee. Yes you are right I would'nt want to live in a place where it stinks everywhere. We need to work on the dogs peeing. Owners let their dogs pee anywhere.

well, i really envy such country like yours. Here, they usually collect fees located in parks and public (wet) market.

Hi...gossipzz Thank you for responding in this discussion. It is the duty of every government to provide the facility to maintain to keep the city clean with public participation. I appreciate your administrators for providing such facility. The Government should ban peeing and spitting in public places and should monitor the inplementation.
