More shenanigans from the Democrats on Capitol Hill

Senator Ted Kennedy has brain cancer. But he assures us he is not dying. But... He asked Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick and State House leaders last month urging them to amend the law to allow the governor to appoint an interim replacement, should a death or resignation create a vacancy.
The Massachusetts Legislature stripped the governor of the power to fill a Senate vacancy in 2004, when Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., was running for president, and then-Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass., could have replaced him with a Republican. US Senate vacancies in the Bay State now can only be filled by a special election.
Now...they didn't want the Govenor to appoint a republican like Mitt Romney so they changed the rules...now they want them changed back to insure a Democrat gets appointed in time to have a majority vote on all the socialist legislation pending.
And they call us crack pots and nut cases? Do they really think this will slide under the radar in Massachusetts? On the other hand....maybe it will.

This is just one more example of the double standard for conservatives and liberals.
The conservatives stand for the rule of law, while the liberals want to change the rules to benefit them.
This is a big reason the country is in the shape that it is now.

It's so obvious....I am still trying to process why the people of this country allow things like this to go on. Are they blind? Are they stupid? Or are they just apathetic?

ParaTed2k, Did you know back when Kennedy drove off that bridge,the diver in the area said under oath,IN COURT that if the accident was reported promptly,he would have gotten there in time to save her. He said based on the size of the air bubble,she survived about 30 minutes after the accident.

And she was pregnant...that didn't make the Post did it? I wonder if they could do a DNA on the contents of her womb now? Bet it was his....and he killed her on purpose so as to save his sorry career. We'll never know, will we?
My Mom loved the Kennedy's. She said they were Irish Americans and she had a duty to stand by them....she even said he probably did it on purpose. He never really measured up to his potential did he?

Oh (eye roll) both sides pull this kind of crap, but I agree it's pretty hypocritical for one party to change it back and forth depending on whether it's to their advantage or not. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it slid under the radar though...

It goes past hypocitical...it's a planned attack on the conservative members of Congress and the American people who elected them.
