Anyone know of any good and legitimate data entry jobs?

I am looking for a new job and thought I would try data entry. I have searched all over the place and have found nothing. I learned you can get data entry jobs on those freelance work sites but I have bid on some and didn't win. I do work now, as a writer, but I am tired of writing articles every day. I suffer from Bipolar disorder and sometimes I can't write because I can't concentrate. So I figured data entry might be a good job until I find something better. Has anyone had experience with data entry? I found some where you have to pay a fee but I don't know if they are legitimate. Can anyone give me some advice on this from experience with any data entry companies? Did you pay a fee and if so did you get your moneys worth?

Great topic. I read your reply about the data entry where you can't get payout until you reach $1000. If it's realdataentry, I belong to that also, and I'm close to payout. I can't remember when I joined, but can find out if you need to know. And recently I joined a similar data entry company that uses the same software as realdataentry but aren't affiliated. I did the free trial and inquired about many things before paying the membership fee. There are many good things about this new site. And remember if you do the free trial you have access to the support service. You can ask many questions before you decide to pay, and that's what I did. And good thing I held out, because they made some positive changes, which will really give realdataentry some competition. With this other site there is no minimum payout and you get all of your assignments at once. This way you work at your pace and get paid when you want. If you only want $200, then only do 20 assignments. This is something to check out. Keep me posted.

That sounds really good. I want to do it so bad but I am afraid I will get ripped off. I have to say though. that when I contacted them about my concerns they were very good at getting back to me. So that is good at least. I did the free trial but only did two of them because I thought since I had to pay I was wasting my time with them and I wouldn't get my money. Are you going to post payment proof when you do get paid? That would be great if you did! I am getting excited about this but I am afraid to get my hopes up. I really wish you good luck and I hope they do pay you. :)

Yes, I will most definitely keep you posted on my payout. And the two you have mentioned are the two I am with. I have not done my real data today(I'm at $740, not far til from the $1000 payout). I've been concentrating on from home data, because thanks to the changes I can request payout when I am ready. I've been doing that off and on today(bouncing back and forth from mylot to that). I started at 9:30am EST and it is now 5:30pm EST. That's an 8hour day. And for not doing that site the entire 8 hours I've accumalated $340. That means I did 34 forms. And if you want to really break it down, instead of saying I was paid $10 per form you could say I was paid $42.50 an hour. And if I wanted to I could cash out now, but why, when $500 is just around the corner? So yes, I will most definitely keep you posted. I love the fact they give you all of your assignments at once and you work at your own pace and request payout when you want. The way I see it, I could do thes Monday thru Thursday, then request payout so it seems like my payday is Friday.

Have you been paid by them yet? It sure costs a lot to join but if you have been paid and can show your payment proof I might try it out. Thanks. :)
