I used to spend around Php5000 to Php7000, more than one hundred dollars. I was working then and was subscribed to a different plan. It was only last month that I realized that it would be more practical and cost efficient to avail of another kind of plan. In my old plan, there was a fixed monthly rate with allocated free minutes for calls and text messages which I consume entirely so whatever usage I have in excess of my freebies, I'm being charged for it. This is the reason why switched to a plan that's consumable because I am only charged for what I use. It's more practical. Gosh, I just realized that I was wasting so much money! Yikes. Good thing, I know better now because my phone bills practically cheaper by 75%!

I spend around 200 Php, which is around the same amount in your currency. I used to spend more than 5 thousand per month. But, I revisited my phone usage and made drastic actions. Yes, I only call my family now and officemates and close friends, and I leave sms to the rest of the pack. and i think of importance and urgency of the reason for calling just to make sure I minimize the spending with phones. Good day!

My cell phone bill is around $127/month. That includes unlimited voice calling, unlimited messaging of any kind - emails & text messages & pictures, & unlimited blackberry data plan.

Here in U.S., most of the service providers are now offering unlimited plans. Most of them starts at $100/month. There are some pre-paid companies that offer unlimited plan for much less, $50/month or even less, but their coverages are very limited. I've been with one company for almost 2 years now & in about 2 - 3 month, they're gonna move me over to $50/month plan which includes unlimited voice calling plan then I have to add $35/month for unlimited blackberry data plan & unlimited messaging. All in all, it should come out to $85/month for same plan I have now. I do work for large retail store & they're giving me 15% discount just for working in the place I do so that pretty much takes care of taxes & other fees. I like my plan. My cell phone is only phone I use so it's sortta worth it, especially considering I use it for work reasons as well.

My plan is unlimited text messaging, pictures, unlimited internet, but not sure about IMs as I think I have to pay extra for those. I don't use that anyway so that doesn't really matter. My monthly bill before taxes is $89.99 which sounds high but it isn't really. I am getting what I want, but email and that isn't a big problem anyway. If I want email I have to add another $5 a month, and not sure I want to spend that at this time. I might later on, but for now I have to watch my money spending as I don't have much and it has to go for my bills. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Say around 50-70 Rs per month and rest for monthly plan because mine is post paid...I use it when it is very urgent only else it lies on my desk...I like to hang with my pc rather than being busy with cellphone....
