Hi, i also think so, last time i have tried to change IP address two time, different DNS address make me meet a problem that when i connect internet slowly, i switch to another DNS address, speed of connecting internet increases, i am not much clear that why does DNS impact speed of connecting internet, maybe it depends on the quality of DNS, just this is my opinion about the relation between DNS and speed. Well, i also set DHCP and install anti-ARP firewall, ARP is causing IP address to be conflicted among computers, if you activate anti-ARP firewall and avoid fake IP address attacking the other computers. Enjoy mylot!

You are probably using internet and are on a Local Network Area... it is not a big issue with the conflict problem, what is happening is that someone else is already using the same IP address as you are, you just need to change that, one simple method is go to your TCP/IPv4 and set your settings to automatic, that should solve your problem anyhow if that doesn't work then try to change it manually, you just need to change the last digit of your IP address somewhere between 55 and 255, there... that should work, i am not into technicality though, i think it should work out, all the best. have a nice day Joniel

oh i am sorry it doesn't necessarily have to be in between 55 and 255 it is for DNS anyways you just need to change the last number of your IP address...

It means another active machine in your network is already using the IP address your about to use in your machine. Let say you have assign your laptop a static IP of 192.168.1.2 but another desktop boot up first with that same IP address 192.168.1.2. All you have to do is replace your IP with a different one. If your not comfortable setting it up have someone to do it for you.
