Does your husband keep breaking things?

Mine breaks everything he touches. I can't use my good dish set, he has broken so many wine glasses it's too many to count, he breaks candle holders and knick nacks. It is driving me crazy. I should just switch to everything plastic.

Your husband sounds more like my mother. She has single-handedly smashed more sets of dishes and glasses in her life than anyone else I've ever known. I've broken a very few things in my life, but she always goes at everything she does at such a pace that I don't think she takes the time to make sure she has a good grip before she picks things up. When I was living at home I'd hear her mutter, "Oh sh*t", and I'd know she had broken yet again another dish.

This is funny. I have 3 kids and run a home daycare. If I dared to have any crystal or china it would either get broken immediately or my husband would use it to drain the oil out of his truck. I literally just gave up on having nice dishes for a while. I can't complain too much because even though he breaks many things, he can fix just about anything. He can take something(like a camera or radio) apart, fix it and have a handfull of extra parts left over. It is amazing.

My husband can't fix anything. I do all the assembly of things we buy and fixing of things that are broke. He has a tool kit that he keeps in perfect order, but he doesn't know how to use them.

My husband rarely breaks anything of mine. It is my kids that are doing in the things that I love. I have a hand blown perfume bottle from England that my mother gave me. My daughter picked it up one day and I immediately went to her to take it and put it somewhere higher. I got the glass from her, but she dropped the stopper which broke in half. I still have the bottle, but I take less pleasure from knowing that it is damaged.

haha that must be so annoying! My boyfriend is pretty good, I think he's only broken a couple of things :) We do have plastic cups, because he broke a few of our glasses though
