Google Adsense not Registering my Blog, Why?

I tried submitting my blog a few times to googe adsense for approval, but everytimes got rejected saying my blog is incomplete. Also recently i got a message from google adsense saying that only those sites that have been online for 6 months or more will only be approved. While my US friends say its not true, will anyone registered with Google Adsense guide me to get my blog registered.?
