Is adding comments really helping make more earnings here?

Well I think comments are a good way to keep your discussion active. Once you comment it means that you are following your discussion and so we know that if we put our views on it, then is something in return that we will get. And so a lot of time we try to respond to such discussions where the creator tends to follow their discussions.

Hi clorissa, I think the above answer already told you about earning from the comment. And I believe some of them earn more then you in YOUR discussion. Our earning is best on posts they we make. It doesn't matters if that is a responses or comments. You will earn from it as long as it has a quality and length. I believe this is not a new rule. Its have been here since I join and I made a lot from responses and comments from others discussions then from my own discussions because I only had few of it. I can earn 30 -40 cents a day without starting any discussion. I just give a responses and comment to other respond on someone else discussion.

I'm glad that you listened to Mike this time around and hopefully will be earning more soon. He is telling the truth. It isn't a new rule at all...it has always been that way.

Clorissa you can see the proof for yourself. Instead of starting new discussions, spend a whole session JUST COMMENTING back on the discussions you have started. There are so many of them and some have loads of responses too,. Once you start commenting they will again be seen at the top of the 'friends started' list for those on your friend list and at the top of the 'similar discussions' list to the right of every discussion opened and could even receive more responses which you can then comment on too. You do not have to take others' word for it, you can try it yourself and see your earnings the next day. We are told that we earn for our own activity snd many, many happy Lotters are aware of this now.

Clorissa, this is not a new rule, it has always been this way. Lots of us have tried to tell you this, but you never seem to take any notice of us, probably because you never go back to look at your discussions. Hopefully you now realise that we are right - especially Mike and Mysd, who have spent a lot of time trying to set you on the right lines. The great thing is, not only will you earn more by commenting back on your discussions, you will enjoy yourself more on here as well. Mylot isn't just about the money, it's about the discussions and our friends.

Thank God! those ears didn't went some where else when mike finally got in to you. he's telling the truth actually, when i saw that post from a rberon guy i didn't believe it. but i tried it anyways and it worked.unbelievable, but i limit myself to three to four response, too much too many, too hurt to my hands. you gonna have a lot of time commenting on those responses, Each Discussion , if you want that is.

Hey read Mike response and i learned something new. I didn't know you only get paid for the first response, and you get paid for responding to those who respond to your comments. very interesting

I have no idea how the comment game helps. I will comment on someone who responded to my discussion because sometimes I do not make myself perfectly clear but it seems as far as making more earnings, I suck. It could also be that I have been too busy and perhaps you get more for starting a discussion then for responding to it and that commenting on the responses might be less. So it could be that starting a discussion you get the most, responding you get the 2nd, and the third is in commenting, since it is harder to start an intelligent discussion. Most of last week, I was either responding and commenting and not starting discussions but I was also looking after a husband who needs 24 hr care because he possibly has als. In other words, it could be that I was not on myLot as long as I was when I first started.

hello clorissa yes adding commentsmakes money and its fun to'boot. what you must do is reply to the reesponses you get from your'discussions and that helps you to make more money.you also 'getpaid for responses to others discussions I make a dollar and'som cents every day.but you must make all your postings at least'five or six lines long.nothing short or not just a few words.they dont 'get you Any pay.

I dont really know one way or the other whether or not they pay you for responding to other peoples comments on your discussions pays or not, I have heard conflicting things about this, but I do appreciate it when when people comment to my posts if for no other reason I know that someone read it. I've had so many of my posts go unanswered that I dont even come around Mylot very often any more, I mean I'm not really here for the money. Just to have meaningful discussions and its not really a discussion if no one answers your responce to their "discussions". Just my two cents, Tianna

At mylot we members earn only for stuffs that we have done. Whether it is adding comments or giving response, the earning criteria is similar. If it is sufficiently written and has some values then it will be paid. I have also commented on others responses and that gave me money just according to my expectation not more than that. So, my experience says that you are not going to earn more by commenting on others responses but yeah you will earn for your work...

Hi Clorissa. I see you have a lot of posts here on mylot to your credit. What I have learned from my own experience is that yes, every single thing we write, post, begin, or comment on earns...provided that it is within mylot guidelines and also consists or more than just one or two lines. Karen

I think adding comments on your own discussions really helps.... It is based on my own experience...Even if many responded on the discussions that I created, if i do not post replies, my earnings are not affected by the increase in responses that I get...

I think it helps on making disussions a lot better, but i am not sure how it would help any earnings.
