I like Old Navy, it's nice and durable. Target is cheaper although the jeans are just a tiny bit less durable. I don't shop at Wal-Mart because of their worker abuse.

My favorite brands are probably Sevens, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Abercrombie & Fitch. They're the most comfortable, although quite spendy!
