I think if you want to know that site scam or not, you must register to that site. But if you are stil hesitant to sign up, see that site... whether there is a rule like TOS (Terms Of Service) or other or maybe some thing like a special forum for that site. If that site dont have some thing like that, chances are that a scam site.
