i was so touch with my auntie, yesterday she moved out from their rented house.. the owner of the house increases their rate, my aunitie can't afford them anymore.. they are renting a house for almost 7 years, my mother advice her just to build their own house so they can save more, if you will count the money they spent in renting a house for all those years, i think it's more than a 150 thousand pesos, see it..?? if they just build their own house, maybe they are so relax now.. poor cousins, every year another house to live in.. how about you friends, are you renting your house or it's your own house?? is it more nice to rent or to own a house?? thanks friends and happy sunday to all of you.. it's GOD's day so go to church..

Nothing beats having your own house. Why pay all your money to someone else if you could invest it in your own house? The moment I qualified to buy a flat I jumped to it and I don't regret it for one moment. There had been tough times, but I got through. If you battle to keep up with the payments you could always consider renting out a room or something.

I'm pretty much going to agree with you both, here. I'm trying to save up to move out, and it seems like buying a house would cost you the least amount of money. With an apartment, you actually have to pay rent, which you have to keep paying and paying. With a house, though, you pay for it once, whether you pay for it all at once, or pay part of the cost and pay off interest, and then you only have to pay for utilities. What's great, though, is, like many of you have said, the fact that it's YOURS! You can decorate it however you want and do what you want with it. Plus, you can be as loud or quiet as you want, given the people living next to you don't hear it.

yes you are right, you can handle it through.. but if your problem is the money, you can save much first then after it you can build your own style and color.. thanks for dropping by.. take care.!!

I have my own house. But I know how difficult it is to keep on renting a house, or an apartment, especially when you have to move from one place to another. I have a sister who rent a house, then after year the owner told them that they have to transfer because he's selling the house. So they transfer and move everything that they have, all their things, furniture's and appliances. You know we'd spent whole day getting and moving all their stuff. Hope you're cousin could have their own house. Have a great weekend!

I've owned my own house for so long I forgot what it is like to rent. I like having my own place because I can fix it the way I want it. I have remodeled most of the house and all that is left is the kitchen which I hope to do next year.

I don't like to live in a rent house, you can't change the things inside. I want to build my house with my family, we can put everything we want to put inside the house. So we call our house is home. Home is the place when we tired we want to go. At home you will feel comfortable and relax. In the rent house you can't feel that.

It is always better to stay at own house than rent a house. COz if you go by claculation you can save a lot more and by the time you retire, you will earn enough money to buy another house. Even if you do not have the money to buy a house, you can always pay the downpayment and then prefer emis. Coz the same amount you pay as rent is given as emi and after paying that for the specified years, you own that house. BUt while renting you end up with loosing and not owning a house.

I never experienced renting a house because my parents already invested our own house but i have known many of my friends and relatives renting. I am living right now to my husband parents house. The best investment in life is to get your own house, there is a lot of option to get to have own houses, like many financing company that can offer monthly installment houses also in government company of PAG-IBIG., sometimes its called "rent to own house." Some people doesn't want to avail this promo because of the ineterest, but they will never know the future feedbak for this.. Some is being practical. But for me i would rather to invest or go thru a financing company to help me in investing, eventhough there is a interest behind of this promo. In the end i will own my house. So better invest now.

This is my second home that I have owned. I rather own then rent. Renting you can't change things in the home and you have to follow the landlords rules. I sold the first house to move to NM. I'm in my second home now two years. I'm able to paint, and design to my liking. In a word its freedom.

It's quite sad to lose touch with your aunt with whom you had a good rapport. That is the difficult part of renting a house the landlords periodically increase rent.Your mother is right i feel your aunt should try and build a house of her own as the family wouldn't be displaced frequently and they could save on rent which they spend every month.Even if they take a loan the sum they pay as rent could be diverted to repayment of the loan.I'VE always lived in a house of my own so i prefer to stay in a own house rather than a rented one.On this day of God let us seek his blessing so that your aunt can buy a house of her own quickly.

I prefer to own a house rather than rent a house. When I own my house,I can decorate them in my own style, not just painting walls.I have a sense of satisfaction. It's troublesome for me to move from one place to another.Due to my backache,I cannot carry heavy things.Possessing a house are attributed to these fundamental reasons. And houses represent the owners' charactesr in some ways.Happy lotting!

I have done both - we rented a house for 2 years and it was ok. The price was great and the people who owned it were very nice. The problem I encountered is that they were a bit older and were always in our business. That can be very annoying. It is also the problem that the rent you pay is really going toward nothing, whereas, payments toward a mortgage actually get you a little closer to owning the house. Now I own, and I love it! I can paint and decorate any way I want and when I put money into the house, I feel like it is worth it. I don't have anyone in my business or risk getting kicked out either!

I prefer to buy the house.in my country, you can have installments to buy it and as long as you work hard,it is easy to pay off.the down payment is also low. you can also sell the house if you want a new one.it is sure to earn you money here. now I am building websites to earn money for my house. http://xyxonline.cn http://enjoybeautypictures.com http://3000freesoftwares.com http://ebooks300.com take a look and look for useful info.

since i came here in cebu, about 15 years now, i live in different shelters, apartments and houses, all rented. this present, i rented the house for over 4 years now. i know how good to have own house but as of now, i still can't afford it. i wanted to get away with the monthly rent and at the end, nothing can be yours. i planned it before to get a low-cost house, but these so called low-cost housing is still too expensive for people like me who earns just enough for the family's needs, like food, schooling, etc.

ever since i was a little i always wanted to build my own dream house. Renting is only good if a person travels a lot and don't have a family to raise. I think almost all of us want to have a house to call on our own. If You do have your own house you can redecorate anytime you want and plant more trees and flower in your lawn.

I would love to own my own house. Right now we are having to live in our camper due to the economy and my husband got laid off of work. I know that when he goes back to work that we will have to rent for a while before we can attempt to purchase a home. When we get our finances back in order than I will try to find something to purchase on a land contract. Owning is the only reasonable choice.

I prefer having my own house because it is more convenient than renting. If you own a house, you have the flexibility of doing anything you want with the house without thinking of the landlord if he will or wont agree with it (say, changing something in there without asking permission). I am currently renting a house so i still worried of the rent at the end of the month including bills. Having said that, if you own a house, you pay for just the bills and save a bit of your hard-earned money.
