do you attend vigiLs.?

we all know that all of us will die, not now, maybe tomorrow or the next day.. one of my officemates died the other week, i felt so guilty because i never attended in his vigil nights, and i never look at him inside his coffin.. it's because i am afraid to look at him, i have a fear on looking dead person specally inside a coffin.. i just can't stand on it.. how about you friends, do you attend vigils?? do you look the person inside their coffins?? thanks everybody..
