Jesus says Men' Teachings Make Worship Useless

This morning, a Sunday, my family and I had a Word session and worship on our porch. We discussed on how important God's will and ways are. They should not be sullied in any way by anything human. John 6 says "the flesh (human effort) counts for nothing." Only the Spirit gives life.
Denominational Christianity has replaced God's ways with man's ways. To explain how most church people have trashed God's ways today, I reminded my wife how I had shared with a denominational bible woman about God's ways in the bible. The bible woman had some problems with their church board about her pay and I had told her their board should apply bible principles in Scripture. The problem was, bible principles were irrelevant to their church because its denomination follows a different policy.
My Jesus says (Matt. 15.8-9) men's teachings, no matter how "biblical," makes worship in vain, and drive men's hearts far away from God. Jesus called such men "hypocrites." That's what a denomination does--produce hypocrites.

I agree that there are a lot of denominations who does not teach biblical principles anymore but a mixture of truth and error. But I believe that God started and ordained a Church for His people to assemble and learn the Word of God. That Hebrews 10:25 is clear that believers should not forsake assembling together just like the 120 who prayed in the upper room.

hi blessing2u. you've already blessed me--with your response! You're right. We should keep meeting together in His presence. We do that, in our Word session group. That's our church, and we sometimes call it HISgroup church. But it's not registered and I don't plan to have it so. There we study the Word, preach it, sing with only a guitar as accompaniment, we eat lots of food we bring and share, and laugh a lot. And I mean a lot. We hold it in our garage, and soon, from house to house--just like in the book of Acts.
God bless you!
