taking quizzes and questionnaires on being single...

i recently took a quiz in facebook entitled "Why are you still single?" i was quite surprised with the result because it says, i can't survive relationships because i am "too selfish"...whew...that really blew me off...i then remembered one of my guy classmate telling me that i am kinda manipulative...
do you think this is one factor why im still single and i have to believe that quiz? or was it just some stupid quiz...

I don't think you should take those quizzes seriously. They are simply for entertainment value. I'm sure if you read the fine line somewhere on the page, a 5-question quiz on Facebook is NOT a psychological evaluation; it's merely a means of entertainment & fun while on Facebook. You may feel like there's a little bit of truth in it, but I wouldn't whole-heartedly believe your result. Those quizzes are merely for fun.

I'd agree with Maezee on this one. I've taken a lot of the Facebook quizzes, and while they may have some truth to them, I take as just amusement. You have to remember that most of the quizzes on Facebook and I'm sure elsewhere are written by other users, not by any kind of professional. If you're really concerned about something within your psychological makeup that's preventing you from finding or maintaining a relationship, perhaps seeing a counselor would be a good idea.

Agreed with the other two. Also, you should remind yourself that because those quizzes are user-created, it's possible that the quiz is rigged! Every answer might accuse you of selfishness! After all, everyone has a little bit of selfishness in them, right? So that might be a clever trick on the quiz creator's part.

Well as far as a quiz goes yes it is just a quiz, who cares what the results were, are you single because the quiz says you are a certain kind of way, only you know the answer to that 
I took a quiz here about the 7 sins my results were something that I knew is not me, yet I answered the questions they did not have the answers I would have picked so I had to improvise oh well, let them tell it I am terrible NOT.
