Can Someone Help Me Put my resume in PDF format?

I'm trying to upload my resume and a sample piece of things I've written to Demand Studios but it says its in the wrong format. Is there someone out there who can possibly help me?

Hello there, what i did when i needed easy PDF was that i downloaded a program called PDF convertor. What you do is when you are in your word program or whatever program you have been used to write your resume in, is that you ask it to print, then choose the printer "PDF convertor" and it will asked where to be saved, and you have a PDF file of the document you where "printing"
