Is anyone out there doing any scrapping this summer?

I did a little on vacation but it seems like I get more of it done in the winter....and by the time winter rolls around I'll have tons more to scrap. So have you been keeping up on your scrapping or are you ready to settle in to do more this winter?

I have so much to do. I do want to get down and start it. So much that it is overwhelming. However I do have a huge plastic box that is full of my husband's memorabilia and I must finish this at least for the children. I have photos coming out of my ears! Not sure where to start. Maybe start with the grands first and then work backwards. A monumental task to be done.

I really don't know how to scrap but have the basic idea. I do have a book and mega pictures to put in the book of our grandkids. Guess I need to read up on the internet about any secrets/ideas that would help me. I do have a question about scrapbooking: do you think it's ok or the norm, to put 2 different families of grandkids in one book? Any suggestions would be appreciated. This winter I am hoping to work harder on my crafts. Also need to clean out a room and make room for our grandbaby who will be staying with us at night a couple of times each week. Wow! that will be fun to have the baby there a few nights! Yes you definately can put two different families together.....I do ocassions with everyone in them....so it more then okay to put all of them together!

Thanks, Jill. Our grandkids are from 2 of our daughters so I wanted them all together. Guess I should work on it over the winter. Just not sure if I want to deal with captions. Will see what develops.

No I have not done scrapping for a few years. So yes I need to do more. I have made 50 dish rags how ever. Need to make more blankets for a fund raiser. And I need to get more money to pay my bills and a hole lot of things I can't talk about right now. Your wonderful have a good day. Your friend onlydia

Hi Jill, I am so behind on my Scrapping. When I first started I seem to be doing it all the time, Now I'm back at the computer, but I really like to scrapbook in the winter,while sipping on a nice cup of hot chocolate or tea,then I switch between crocheting and scrap booking. Have a great Day :-)

I do too.my sisters and I make weekends out of it and try to catch up.....hopefully when I retire I'll have more time to get to it.....I love scrapping and I am with you on the crocheting too! Love that too!
