Help me with these terms...please!

Dear mylotters, I'm having problem to understand some of this internet terms. Can somebody explain it to me? I really appreciate it... 1. Reddit - how does it work actually? can reddit bring more traffic to a blog/website? 2. Diggit - okay, I guess this belong to the same family as the above. But what's the difference? And how can we use it? 3. Twitter - I joined this site a couple of months back, and I already have some followers. But I don't really understand the significance of this twittering...I've heard that twitter is now a very powerful tool to gain visitor/traffic ..but i still don't get it... Okay, I know that some of you may think that I am lazy to do research on these terms...but it seems that I'm always running for time now...there's so much thing to do right now and I would really appreciate it if someone could just explain about these terms in a simple kind of way...
