I am planning to make a website and make it as online store. I need suggestions on what kind of contact method I need to provide on my online store? If I check other stores, some are providing email address, yahoo messenger, or contact form on their site. Which one do you prefer or whether the availability of certain contact method can give more positive image on the store? Thanks for your suggestions

I prefer a ticket system that tracks the messages, and alongside it a live chat system (an MSN address would do as well). Also, when there's a real address and a phone number, I feel more secure to purchase.

Yes, if there is a real address and phone number, I think the people will feel more secure. Unfortunately, I am the one who feel not secure, if I state a real address on the net . But I can provide the phone number, it should be no problem

I think a live chat feature will be more effective than only conventional email contact. But if you want to put live chat on your online store, then you must have someone to always online for answering every incoming chat. It's good because customer wants live answer so they don't need to waiting for an email reply if using email. The fact is the faster you can serve your customer, the faster a transaction will be done. So, in this broadband era, i think even live streaming is a common thing. Of course you must put some contact methods. Start from email, phone contact, and live chat. There's alot of live chat providers on the internet. Just search around and find the best one for your business. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.
