In the past 4 years. A fellow mylot member just made my number one...and a second fellow mylotter, my number 2 nicest things. Today, one fellow mylotter put an order in to target for a bed for my little girl!!! And yesterday, another fellow mylotter gave me $5 towards my daughters winter clothing! I am so thankful! I didn't realize that there were still ppl out there who care so much about other ppl's wellbeing. Especially someone they don't even know! Tell me your story or the nicest thing that has been done for you in the past 4 years....

Wow, what a great story! The nicest thing anyone has ever done for me in the past four years is tough to figure out, so I'll just share the nicest thing someone did for me yesterday. My hubby did all of my evening chores, and his as well. Sometimes, it's the little things that count. What a great guy!

What is a little thing to some can mean the world of difference to others. Doing something for others doesn't always have to cost money.

Isn't it amazing how someone you have never met can touch your heart like that through a computer screen? I know there are a lot of bad things to be said about the internet but it has also helped so many people with some many things and brought the world closer together.

I got carried away in my response and never answered your question. I have been very lucky and I have a great family and wonderful friends all over the world. It would be hard to pick the nicest thing out of everything anyone has done for me in the last four years. Was it when my then 6 year old son made me soup and brought it to my bedside when I had the flu? Was it when a dear friend of mine took time off from work for a week when I was travelig in his home town, only to be ready to drive me around whenever I needed to go somewhere? Was it when my employee went to the office on a Sunday and cleaned it all and rearranged everything without expecting to get paid for it? Or was it when a complete stranger smiled at me on the train when I was tired and must have looked miserable? I just can't pick one out.

Would be interesting to add to the question: What is the nicest thing you have done for someone else in the last four years :). You deserve all the nice things other people do for you and what is the best thing you have done for yourself. You don't seem to ask for things for yourself or complain about what you don't have. Everything I have read in your posts on here shows how much you care for your daughter and how hard you are working to do something for her. There are plenty of people who help others without anyone knowing of it. Usually they do it through organizations that distribute the helps to those who seek it. Those who try to help themselves and don't ask for help usually don't get much. Your daughter is very lucky to have you as her mother.
